Located in the heart of Clawson, Michigan, the House of Barbecue offers a high-end culinary barbeque experience at a fraction of the cost. 


The House of Barbecue was born as a small food truck traveling to events, now with years of success it as blossomed to a thriving staple in downtown Clawson, Mi on Main Street between Madison and W. Tacoma St.  

(And yes, we do catering...just ask us!)

  We offer a wide variety of Beef, Pork, and Seafood entrées expertly smoked, resulting in a perfect balance of tenderness and a rich, smoky flavor. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender, coated in a finger-licking barbecue sauce that strikes the right balance between sweet and tangy.    Each bite is a culinary journey, with the smokiness, tenderness, and savory goodness of the meats dancing on your palate.


The sides accompany the main event, and they're just as delectable. Creamy coleslaw, tangy baked beans, perfectly seasoned cornbread, and a famous street corn that is to die for.


At House of Barbecue, you can experience barbeque flavors from some of the best barbeque regions in the country, Alabama White , Texas Style, and Memphis Smoke just to name a few.

About Chef Collier

Chef Collier is a seasoned culinary veteran with a lifetime of experience that allows him to create unique flavors and an incredible variety of food preparation.


From the early age of seven, Chef gravitated to the kitchen with an innate passion for cooking, it was in his DNA.  As a child he learned fine dining meal preparation from his Grandfather, who was in the Navy, southern flavors from his Grandmother, and art of baking from his Mother (when you taste his cornbread you'll understand).  His Father would process meats in the basement of their home in Detroit and taught Chef how to identify the best cuts.


With this strong base he began his journey of culinary experiences, gleaning knowledge under military chefs, top chefs in Michigan, and Sushi chefs.  He learned that if you want the ultimate flavor, it starts with quality meat!  These talents allowed Chef to be the Meat Concierge for Oakland Hills Country Club.  Chef Collier only uses PRIME BEEF - not choice, not select, but PRIME!


With a passion for barbeque, all these experiences have come together under one roof - the  "House of Barbecue".
